It's tough to let go sometimes...

Knowing that Dad is moving back home to Australia is a good thing. It's also tough to know that I might not see him again. Having taken care of him for the last couple months and seeing him on a daily basis has been well, not so easy but yet we've had some great conversations about many different things. He even gave me the ultimate gift in acknowleding that he has made a lot of mistakes in his life. I think both my sisters would agree with me that that could be considered and understatement. :) Anyway, no need to dwell on the past. Long story short I think I will miss my Dad and more than anything miss the chance for a relationship that we never really had. This is life though right? I have to let go and move forward.
