So much driving~it's nice to be home again.

We drove home via the Columbia Gorge this time. Doug has never been that way ~ we always go through Bend and cut over through Burns and Vale. I used to cringe "Deadman's Pass" when I was little, but it's not as bad as I remember it.


We also stopped in the Dalles for late lunch at Cousins. It's my Mom and my Aunt's favorite place to eat. It's pretty cute, but the air conditioning was broken and it was hotter than hot. None the less we ate and stretched our legs while the kids posed for silly pics and then got back on the road.
