Marlee's special Mother's Day Celebration at school

Marlee's class Sr. Penhollow and Srta. Kulog combined to put on a Mother's day celebration for all of the students mothers. They had Muffins and Coffee for everyone (even though of course I don't drink coffee). It was so sweet~Marlee was beginning to think I wouldn't be there but parking was crazy.

They read us their poems and brought us kleenex in case we cried. Then they sang us a couple of songs about Mothers. It was so cute. Marlee had sketched a rose in a vase and then painted it with water colors. That was the cover for her poem. She also spelled out my name:

Contando ~Singing

Haciste ~ I've done so many things for her

Amor ~ Love

Rosa ~ a rose for me

Mama ~ I'm her mama

Amorosa ~ She loves me more than anything in the world

Y es mas bonito de la mundo ~ I'm more beautiful than the world

No hay nadio como tu ~ There's no one like me

Eestreya ~ I'm her star

Marlee is such a special, kind and caring person. I love her so very much and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful sweet girl. Thank you Marlee, you made my day.
