He's 88 years old!!!

Last Monday on February 18th my Father Jack turned 88 years old. It's kind of crazy to think that my real Dad is that old now. Unfortunately, I was pretty sick that day so I had to post pone his Birthday dinner until this Wednesday.

My Dad is from Adelaide, Australia ~ he came over to America by ship to LA almost 40 years ago. He then took a bus to St. George, UT and started painting the St. George Tabernacle. After a year a friend recommended a little town in Oregon called Prineville. So he moved there and while he was living there he attended a Singles Stake Event at Champoeg(Shampooie)State Park near Portland. It was there while having a picnic that he met my mother Marlene. My Mom was pretty smitten with his good looks and of course that Aussie accent. Most of you know the history of my Mom and Dad and know that they are divorced and both have been remarried for nearly 20 years now. Although I don't see my real Dad that often I do love him very much.

So I want to wish you a very Happy Birthday Dad~I love you.
